Montenegro Law on Foreign Nationals — English Version
The Government of Montenegro provides an official English translation of the Foreign Nationals Law. The available English document was published online in 2021 and is based on the 2018 law and amendments included at that time.
A newer Montenegrin-language consolidated law was published in May 2026. Because the English translation may not contain the latest amendments, the current Montenegrin text and Official Gazette publications remain controlling for legal use.
